Kaja graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and obtained a Master of Laws Degree with First-Class Honours. She completed attorney-at-law training at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw and – in 2012 – obtained the title of attorney-at-law. Kaja then completed postgraduate studies “Law of New Technologies” at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, with First-Class Honours. She gained her professional experience, among others, at the Law Clinic of the University of Warsaw, the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw as well as various law firms in Warsaw and Katowice. Kaja has experience in conducting court disputes and providing services to business entities in the field of consulting and transaction security, as well as assessing commercial transactions’ credit risks. She has conducted numerous court proceedings in the industries such as insurance, automotive, fuel, transport and construction. She gained her practical knowledge in real estate administration and trading while working at the Marshal’s Office of the Silesian Voivodeship.
Kaja focuses her professional interests on matters regarding data protection law and family law. She is responsible for a number of projects related to personal data protection. She has experience in conducting comprehensive audits and implementations of GDPR and providing ongoing legal advice in the field of personal data processing. As part of the family law practice – she specializes in divorce, division of joint property, maintenance (alimony), contact with children, parentage of the child, as well as negotiations of marital property agreements (prenuptial agreements).
She speaks fluent English.
